We will be having a brief ceremony, dinner, and drinks at The Violet Hour, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.

Dress code is cocktail attire.

Please note that the cocktails here are often quite strong, and that the bartenders are happy to mix you a non-alcoholic drink to your tastes if you would like one.

Finding the venue: The Violet Hour is just south of the Damen Blue Line stop and Pierce Avenue. It is a little tricky to find. Directly to the north is the Guidepost Montessori school; directly to the south is the MedSpring urgent care center, and directly across the street is the Big Star Taco. You will see a building with a mural on it and a lantern above it. Below the lantern is a mostly-camouflaged door. That is the door to the Violet Hour. If that lantern is lit, the bar is open! Open the door and ask for the wedding.
